Well I would go with the SK-6, but they are both top notch coolers thats forsure.

I have nothing against the two. I picked the cak38, and I am
running a vcore of 2.08-2.1 and my temps right now are: 31C

Wow all that voltage with such low temps , I am very jealous. How many fans do you have and whats the temp in the room your keep your computer ?

My 1.2@1.3 @1.75v@44c full load
SK6/delta 38cfm

I keep my room temp around 77F, with a open case. I guess the
main reason the temps are so low is the program vcool. One run
with 3dmark2001 and temps increase around 44-47c. When I
want to play a game for a long time though, I lower my cpu to
1.4(vcore 1.92), the temps really drop after that. That's where
I'm at right now, and temp is 26-27c.

Can someone give me a realistic example of how loud the cak38 is? I've heard that it sounds like a vacuum cleaner and also heard that it sounds like a 747. Some opinions may have been exagerated. I'm looking for a realistic, UNEXAGERATED example of what that thing sounds like, cuz I'm thinking of getting one.

first of all, they are not fans they are heatsinks, on them are usally 38CFM deltas which are loud, however you can buy the SK6 without a fan and add a much quieter 26CFM ys-tech

I have a machine running with a SK6 delta 38, and the CAK delta 38. They are both noisy, but noise level is dependent on the surroundings. If you are in a very quite room, then they will sound kind of loud. If you are in a room that has normal surrounding noise, they probably won't bother you much.

They are no where near as load as a vacuum cleaner.

My main machine at home, has 8 120mm fans 3 80mm fans - so the noise level of those little delta fans doesn't bother me. My machines in my office at work, however, don't have an overkill of fans, and the noise level is noticable, but I have gotten use to it.
Of the two HSF's - the SK6 is a tad bit better than the CAK - but both are good choices for air cooling

Thank you. When I heard that the thing sounded like a vacuum cleaner, I was a bit scared. When I heard it sounded like a 747, it scared the living bujebas out of me. So I guess I will get that fan. I'll probably get one of those and then a generic one that is quiet. I guess it depends on how well I sleep with the thing on in my room.

Unfortunately, to get maximum performance from your HSF setup, you need the most powerful fan that you can get. With that power comes noise - Unless you want to spend about double the money and get a Swiftech MC462A. They use 80mm fans, and are a lot quieter than the Delta rigs.
