1/2 or 3/8 barbs ?

well finalizing my dual system ,
trying to see if i can get all 1/2 fittings all around....
larger = more water , i would think better cooling

since danger Dens offers the Maze1 block with 1/2 fittings
plus , i think the more area carved out of the block for water ,
the better performace , thus that circular design (on the Maze2)
leaves the corners open.

Sys Engineer = I have to be Perfect of course...

Dam wheres that Mastercard ?!

Thanks

If you do decide to go with 1/2" fittings you should probably go with one of the stacked plate radiators. These tend to not restrict waterflow as much as the tube/fin rads.

You may also have a little more difficult time with 1/2" tubing. It tends to kink more easily than 3/8" tubing. It's not an insurmountable problem by any means, but something that will need to be taken into consideration.

I wouldn't think there's a really "big" benefit with going with a 1/2" setup, but there are definite arguments that could be made in its favor. If nothing else, it'll make it easier to use larger pumps. :) (It's funny how addictive overkill can be.)

i am 1/2 all the way, in fact that is what i use, same block as well.
just make sure you get a good pump for this, you are pushing a lot more water in the system so, bigger pump will be needed.

i have a 400GPH pump :-)
