Ok, I just bought two laptops for $12, one works and has Win95 on it, the other is broken but is the same model (Dell Inspiron XPi 75d). The laptop runs at 75mhz, has 24mb ram, and has NO sound or CD :( I want to install Win98se and a sound card, but the external CD-Drive my friend has uses a USB card adaptor, and AFAIK, USB isn't supported in Win95. So I'm wondering if there are any hacks out there that will let me use USB under 95. Thanks.

Oh yeah, I don't have the laptop's yet... I get them monday.

Let me guess... It doesn't fit on a floppy right?

http://www.usbman.com/Win95%20USB%20Guide.htm I'm guessing the laptop has 95A on it :( Looks like no USB for me.

Have you tried hunting around for a floppy that supports USB through DOS?

No... I didn't think DOS was anywhere close to supporting USB... I'll google.

Actually, I think DOS can. That's what the "Legacy USB Support" option in the BIOS is, isn't it?
