Windows 98 (OEM) Question

Yesterday I checked the free spae on this computer, it said 1.59GB on a 5.99GB hdd, today is says only 509MB free, i checked for what was using up the same and forund nothing, is this just and error i only come up with 4 1/2 Gb of disk usage. thanks.

Dunno - try this,,,,
start | run | command
cd \
dir /s (let it run and compare the final report for used/available

then
in windows explorer check the properties of c drive - used/available

then compare both results,,,,,,

thats really weird, it knows there are 4.5GB used, but what it dosent know is that is a 5.99GB hdd, so its showing that I only have 500MB free and not 1.5Gb free :|

ah, i got it :) all I had to do was run scandisk :)
