i have to keep updating it. The seconds go buy really fast. I left my computer on overnight, for 6 hours, and when I woke up and came back to it it said it was 8:40 when it was 7:10ish am. Mind you, this computer was installed with a slipstream of xp sp2.

Start | Run | Type cmd, and click OK | At the command prompt type net stop w32time...ENTER | Type w32tm.exe /unregister...ENTER | Type w32tm.exe /register...ENTER | Type net start w32time.
...and of course check to make sure the Time Zone is set correctly in Windows, and the time and date are correct in the BIOS.

First it stops the time service from running so you can work with the file. Then, it removes and re-enters the time executable from the registry I believe. Basically a reinstall that may clear up a bug I suppose.
