New Folder - almost

The new box arrived with no floppy or video (both of which were supposed to be there) and the wrong MB so it won't be up and running right away. :( Borrowed a few parts just to fire it up and the Duron 800 purred like a well oiled errr uh.. processor, but it may take a day or two or three to get it up and folding. Just glad it finally showed up.

Well the issue was resolved with a ten minute stop at a pawn shop that had a "computers" sign in front. They have all kinds of old whatnot and 25$ later I had everythng I needed with a HD. Windows is installing as I type. Should be up soon

Thanks. I admit it. It was fun getting it going even though it didn't like me at first but that's how we ended up here in the first place isn't it? ahhh.... 7 frames completed..... Now if it doesn't crash all will be well. :D Forgot to do a few things that can wait till tomorrow and it's running without any keyboard/no mouse/no monitor, floppy disconnected, no cdrom- actually just a mobo, 800Mhz of AMD power(not for long), 1.6 hd, ram, nic, psu, cheapo vcard and a pipe to the outside world. Budget folder. Very budget.
