Free Norton Ghost Alternatives?

Well I wanna make a copy of my HD on some CDs or even my iPod so when its easier when I'm gonna reformat, or putting it on another machine... I don't have the money to buy Ghost, any good and free alternatives out there?

I havn't found free software to do this but I did go with Acronis TrueImage and found it much easier to use than Nortan Ghost. Well worth the money!
