I have an odd problem with my cpu. Windows "Freezes" when my TBird 1.2 hits about 33 Celcius. It doesnt freeze up when i play a game though. Now im wondering : What the HELL? I'm guessing the probe isnt touching my cpu, or i just need a better WATER COOLER. i didnt overclock it beacuse i didnt want to risk damage to my cpu (Yes, im poor). And i cant put a fan beacuse I already broke the Socket A teeth. oh yeah. i have a KT7A. if you dont fully understand my problem, let me know and i'll try to make it more clear. Thanks guys.
I can't solve your problem, but hopefully I can get this moving along faster. People will probably be able to help, but they'll probably need more information. A lot more. About your entire system. Waterblock type, RAM type, power supply type, etc, etc.

Wow. seems like you have yourself a problem. I would suggest looking at your BIOS settings as I've had a similar problem before where I would play games and it wouldn't lock up but in windows it would just gosh darn lock up. anyways i loaded fail safe defaults and all is dandy. I think that you should try making yourself a bong as they are somewhat popular, cheap and effective. If noise isn't an issue then go build one you poor guy!also, could i have your ENTIRE system layout i'd like to analyze it to see if there are any other variables that could be messing it up. the temp probe should be fine b/c it doens't lock up in games. right? later
