One question, exactly how well does the aluminum case, by itself, dissipate heat compared to a steel one? I'm looking into sinking some money into a new case, and it's come down to 2 cases, Fong Kai 302B or Lian Li PC-70 Aluminum full tower.

So between the two, would the aluminum perform better?

I just took delivery of my 2nd one and I swear by them. Plus, a dremel can melt through aluminum better than steel. I have the Coolmaster full tower aluminum.

Good that was my other concerns, how easily these things can be modded. So aluminum it is. Though where did you get your FULL tower Coolermaster, all I see at Directron.com are mid-towers?

I have the privledge of living near a very good PC retail store that caters to the Overclocker. I got it from them. though $240 poorer. You can find very good ones without power supplies for about $100. Here is the link.

What the hell?

1) What is that center bar thing?

2) Is that TWO speakers I see up front? Or is that a spot for fans?

Whata joke those speakers are, I took the left one out and a 92mm fan fits perfect there. The bar hols a 80mm fan that can blow on your drives. and it holds all your cards in place, I took both the bar and that plastic duct out for better ventilation, by the way this was my 1st case.

how much of a temp drop did you see with your aluminum case, I'm looking for a new case now and I'm trying to decide if its worth ALL that extra money

It's not that much more money and maybe 3-4c lower case temps and the coolness factor is way good

yea I guess thats true because I was looking into the Cyclone 5000 which is about 159 for the one I want with the window.

can a dremel cut through aluminum alot easier than steel?

I love mounting fans everywhere, the more air and more sound the better I like it. I want to hear my chip screamin for mercy from the wind:)
