View Full Version : Which heatsink should I get?
I'm currently running a celeron 800@1152mhz, 1.95v. My current fan is a volcano II. I want to upgrade my heatsink. Does anyone have any advice on which one i could get?

Swifty MC-370 would work on a Celey I think, I am not that good on Intel's stuff. But the ratings are high for this setup.
Forgot to add this: these are the only heatsinks that I can get without ordering online, which I can't do because my parents don't trust the internet :(

Volcano 5
Alpha PAL6035

Which one of these would give me the most improvement over my volcano II?

globalwin cak38 with delta fan..........it's kind of loud but it's really good
or go with the alpha6035, it's not bad and it doesnt cost as much as the cak38 <-- that's for the prices in where i live

ah, i am allowed to order online i would go for the wbk38, this is not because i am being mean, but because your cpu does not give off enough heat to have any advantages of being cooled my a copper heatsink, that is why my 633MHz celeron has a fop38 on it and not a SK6
I've narrowed it down to either a fop38 or a pal6035. I have a p3v4x motherboard, so i'm wondering how many dimm slots i'll end up losing? Also would it make a difference if the Alpha had a fan other than a 7k rpm fan? Because I don't know what fan it comes with.
