Step = mucho bragging.. and not much else.

If you check www.resellerratings.com you probably won't want to purchase from them. It seems that the only thing they can do is brag.

I use to buy from them on a regular basis - until I got good terms and pricing from a local vendor. Probably made over a hundred purchases, up until August of 2000. Their products always performed as stated, their customer service was excellent, only had one CPU that didn't perform as stated. I returned it to them and promptly got a replacement. The only problems that I ever had with them was the lead time on my orders. Some orders would take up to 2 - 3 weeks to get. That is the main reason that I stopped doing business with them.

I used to hear nothing but good things about them, so I (stupidly) went and purchased a CPU and "Unbeatable" heatsink from them without first checking reseller ratings etc.
I've done my ranting on Resellerratings.com, you can go there if you want the full story, I'm jhoover. To sum things up though, basically, my "pretested processor" was shipped to me with pencil unlock, L1 and L2 crossed, so it didn't even unlock or work and my "Unbeatable Heatsink" was actually a GlobalWin WBK38 that had a 'STEP' sticker on it and cost me 90 bucks. I ordered the stuff in March, got it and sent it back in April and have still not received a refund. So yeah, do yourself a favor and stay away from them, they sell crap now at higher prices than anywhere else.

I had good results from a Celeron 600 I bought from them when I didn't know any better. Shipping time was bad. If you want a pretested cpu, I think you'd be better off with PC-NUT.
