View Full Version : Mouse Sticking after FSB increase?

When i increase my FSB my mouse doesnt work in windows. It hasnt crashed because i can still use the keyboard to navigate windows and open programs. It happens as soon as i hit 10.5x139, 1.775v.

1.4GHz Athlon 266, Thermoengine heatsink with delta 60mm fan.
AsusA7V226 4in1
256MB DDR RAM
Morpheus Geforce 3 240/500 12.90
60.1GB IBM
Tornado Coolercase

Any help would be much appriciate its really starting to P me off.

What variety of mouse are you using? P/S2 or USB?

Some USB devices have a problem with high FSB, although 139 isn't really that high

This is so true! I always use a ps2 adapter now. High FSB, and USB have caused me several hours of "head-scratching".:)

hmm ... normally you can buy such a thing you can put on your usb mouse so it becomes a ps/2 thingie ... do that ... using your USB for your mouse isnt that smart ... because you arent using your ps/2 for anything else except keyboard and mouse ...
