ok heres my prob my duron was running at 863 / 115*7.5. i worked with it for i think 4 - 5 houres without having it locked once ... i shut down my pc and restarted it 3 houres after ... i get in windows everything is loaded ... i move my cursor ... bam gets locked ... ok i reboot and increase my core voltage to 1.65 instead of 1.625 ... i boot after 5 min in windows ... again it locks ... my temp of my cpu was less than 40 ... what does this mean? that i cant overclock my cpu anymore or?
now for the moment i decreased my fsb to 112 ... but i want to make my duron hit 900
thx

What motherboard do you use?

Hey. just increase your voltage. i highly doubt its the heat. what speed duron is it? you can see in my sig that i OC'd mine like around 20% oc. just increase the voltage a little bit more or to 1.85 like mine and it should work and if you overclock the FSB realize that some motherboards with the kt133 (not A) chipset dont overclock FSB's well. email me if you need some more help bro. later

If your board does not support 266 your problem is the FSB.
Up the multiplier and drop the FSB. At 40 C your still OK. I took my Duron 750 to 1050 at 44 C with EP5I51 COOLERMASTER with a copper plate (3mm) @ 0.001 tolerance screwed on the base, and a STD fan. One more thing, if the FSB is increased the PCI and AGP buss also moves and it can lock you out. Try not to go past 35 on the PCI (std 33) and 70 for the AGP (std 67)
