Are you overclocking the bus / cpu?

I know mine refuses to run agp 4X when overclocking.

I know there's a proggie out there that allows you to change some settings manually in the drivers (WCredit or something like that). never used it, since my current 2X is fine for me.

If you run the PC at default speed, does it return to 4X?

If it does, I recommend deleting this thread and starting one in the motherboard section as this is definitely the cause of your woes (and I certainly don't have a solution though some other members in the motherboard section may).

Would never have thought to suggest that!
