Well I guess I got about 25min before I got the Shut down alarm from the APC. I start to shut down my machines, when I got the last one shut down the power came back on! Well a reboot never hurts.

Right-on burn'em!! Is this (http://www.apcc.com/resource/include/techspec_index.cfm?base_sku=SU1400RM2U&language=en&LOCAL.APCCountryCode=WW) the unit you have? I spec. these a lot for networking closets that have 3-4 switches. They're really nice boxes...really pricey too. :) About 30 min backup power..right in line w/ what you got. Looks like they deliver!! Way to contribute!

I don't know if you read an old post of mine where I say my wife owned her own buiness and I get all the old equipment. So when I need something I have her up-grade. It a beatiful thing.
That thing is awesome. WTG on keeping it going all that time.
I love my UPS even though it's a just a belkin. Kept me up a few times when the lights went out but nothing like that.

Ya ups are neet they give you a nice clean power supply.
Most people don't ever think about getting one but I it's a very necessary part of any good system. Unless you are Stanman then you would need a power plate. lol

man what a bummer!
When the power when out I check my laptop in the other room and the cpu speed stepping window was up. So I click OK to reducthe cpu speed so the battery would last longer Folding.
When the power came back on I didn't check it the same window was up to change back so it wasn't Folding! It was like that all day lost some wu on that. Bummer!
