Hmm, not too shabby but then again, in several months from now, there will be a GeForce4 TI series I'm betting :) Its all about marketing :)

i say that at M3Dzone too.
I think it's a hoax, I really can't see NVidia releasing two Geforce 3's so close in performance (10% difference), what's the point of DX9 support when DX9 won't be hear for ages yet.
And why would they do another Geforce 2 when the geforce 3 technology is already here? if they wan't a mass market card surely a 'Geforce3 MX' or similar will be the way to go.

M3Dzone is a good site but they have had a few of these hoax geforce 3 stories lately, I'll believe it when it happens.

The GeForce 3 TI series are supposed to fill in the gap for the time being. But you never know,, I know for sure that there is a nFinitieFX 2 Engine coming either now or with the GF4?. I read it on the nVidia site a while back from one of there shows they were at.

Next you can go through your old GFFX king of gfx cards thread. Pick out all of the people who said they would do stuff if NVidia released a card slower then the 9700 pro and hold them all accountable.

You may have to eat a hat yourself somewhere in multitude of pages that thread spans;)


ps I've eaten hat before. It tastes much better with steak sauce.

Thats what I was thinking :) Actually, it was Badger who made me spend hours diggin for clues onto future nVidia products back then. Thats how I came to buy my GF2 TI which he said would never exist :)
