Welcome to the forum :)

There are little bridges on top of the CPU called the Level 1 bridges (L1) these are usually cut on Duron 750's to lock the multiplier. To unlock them you simply join them up.. there are instructions on how to do this in the begginers guides on the front of overclockers.com.. If check if yours are unlocked simply try to adjust the multiplier setting in the bios, if you can not adjust the multiplier they CPU bridges are locked.
The easiest way to increase performance of a Duron is to run it on a 133 mhz FSB, but obviously keep an eye on your tempratures.
I would suggest that you read the beginners guides on the front of overclockers.com and ask any questions you have, in the forums.
The Duron and Abit KT7A is a great combination for overclocking and should reward you well.
