I don't have one yet because I'm trying my best to hold out for the 1.53GHz Pally MP, but you never know when I might make a spontaneous spend, so I was curious to know how far most of you are overclocking these early MP models.
Thx in advance!
I've been wondering the same thing for quite a while now. No one seems to know.
I would recommend holding off until the 1.53 Palmino or higher GHz processor arrives.....

I'd like to wait it out, but I hear these MP's are great SETI crunchers :D
im gettin a dualie setup... ill let you guys know if it oc's at all
I would wait on the dualie set up. The current Tyan motherboards (the Tiger MP, and Thunder (aka. Guiness)) don't have multiplier adjustments or FSB tweakability if my sources are correct. Unless you have a diamond dremel bit to do some bridge snippy-snippy, i would wait for the MSI offering (due out in two weeks, but likely around when palomino comes out). I would also wait because the palomino's, although not AMD sanctified to be used in MP setups, will be cheaper and faster, and from the sources I have. WILL work in MP.

i would NOT get it if its still in 0.18mircon process becuase look at the tbirds there getting 1.6ghz aprox with out major cooling mods going on to get higher..... when it hits teh 0.13 mircon process look to get 2ghz eazy
Fanman I just wanted to welcome you to the forums. I love your Keychain
thanks Bender,
I was here before as "Duan de la Duron" but my account got futzed somehow so I can't login anymore.
The Keychain is something I made today, but killed a few weeks back as a victim of alpha's poor clip mechanism.
