Last attempt at DIY setup didn't go as planned as I think the 2nd hand MCP600 pump wasn't working (going to test that today). Soooo 2nd attempt and now I have my first working DIY H20 setup in a cardboard box LOL

Setup details at and pics at http://www.fileshosts.com/watercooling/DIY/6002_MCP650/

What is the cpu fan speed reading in MBM? IF that thing comes apart you better duck!

vicfit.com is an Australian company and orders are made via email for price quotes.. not sure if they ship internationally but email them and ask :)

as to the fan it's sunon 60x25mm fan hehe

Looking good. It looks like your non working 600 with the orange sticker is a revision1 of that pump that had impeller problems. You'll need to contact swiftech to see if they still have replacement parts for those. I had the same problem with my revision 1, but the new impeller fixed it and made my pump technically a revision 2. I'm still using it with no problems. Those 1/2" ID quick coonects look pretty good, too.

yeah the MCP600 had a revised pump head but still the pump doesn't work when it was in the loop... my cpu temp rose to 60+ on P4C800-E which already under reports temps by 15+ C! have to test that MCP600 soon by itself to see if it is still problematic

thanks Viper.. cardbox is very sturdy one too!
