I'd like to hear err...read your opinions about the new consoles and how they are gonna compare with pcs and each other...

Oh and whats up with gamecube graphics? Those cartoony colorfull graphics look kinda strange. ....I can't imagine seeing a PC run Luigi's Castle or Zelda....nintendo has its wierd stlye of graphics, how come?

And what system will be the best graphically speaking? I think its either Xbox or PS2....

Well so far this has been my opinion. I don't really think graphics matter a whole lot. I mean they shouldn't be really bad but the thing that matters the most is the games for the console. So it all depends on which console gets companies like Squaresoft etc.

Ofcourse, graphics don't make a game good, but they do make a game nice to look at and more realistic/cartoony.....

I think Square is starting to go on the right track again, FF X looks really interesting...well its got the basic elements of FF7 and some of the good ones from 8 soo it should be good, and FF 11 is gonna be a multi-platform MMORPG. Thats gonna be interesting to see.

I may be a bit biased, but in my opinion everything will lead the PS2 until developers learn to make the most of the hardware. Until then, I'll just enjoy what I can get. Ico looks good, as does Klonoa2.

I for one am glad the USA will again have a game console produced here to compete against the Japanese systems. I think with our technology here (USA) companies like Nvidia, Microsoft, and Intel will begin to dominate the gaming market world-wide. Not that i don't like my past systems such as Nintendo, Super Nintendo, N64, Playstation, and PS2. I have purchased all of these systems on opening day and will do the same when Xbox arrives. I waited all night last year for PS2 and bought 3 , 2 sold and kept the other. But anyways I think our US made console systems will be far superior as time goes on.

I like to wait at least a few months after a system is released before I decide to buy it...I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a system that will be given the cold shoulder in a year or so.

I'm curious to see how both x-box and Gamecube do in comparison to the ps2. If Nintendo did their homework, they should do well (in my opinion).

well I never pay attention to Console Wars, since in the End I will Own every console that is released....

I REALLY hope that X-box will be FIRST US console that will be HUGELY SUCCESSFUL in JAPAN.. I mean it is MOST powerful home system out of the 3 ( even more powrful then current TOP PC )... It has support of KONAMI, Namco, SEGa.. Already Namco is working on Ridge Racer and SOul Calibour 2 for Xbox.. Konami is making Metal Gear SOlid X, and I think that Square will also bring their Final Fantasy series to Xbox.. And don't forget HALO !!

Gamecube will also be Successful as ALWAYS... Look at N64... N64 lineup of games SUCKED ( except of few great titles).. It SUCKED because Nintendo released 95% of games that were AIMed at younger audience.. POKEMON how many Pokemon games do you need ?? However now SEGA is developing for GameCube so I hope they will bring PANZER DRAGOON to GameCUbe... I love this game.

PS2 ...... what can I say... It always be successful......

I plan to buy X-box the day its released... Few days later I will buy GameCube on its release day....

As for waiting which system is better, then I will buy it, I don't think that is Rational way to think... Look at DREAMCAST... GREAT system.. AWESOME LINE UP of games.. Obviously only HARD CORE gamers could see how GOOD Sega Dreamcast was... I am PROUD owner of Sega DC.. I spent over $1000 on DC and games, and I NEVER was sorry that I invested my $$ in DC... As a matter of fact I still plan to buy few more DC games... WHen I heared sega would no longer make games for DC, I was little sorry, but NEVER upset !!! I had FUN, and I still have FUN with my DC...
