Need some help guys. I just got a 1.2 Thunderbird for my Asus A7V KT1133 and it won't let me enable the PCI Master Read Caching in the bios unless my vcore voltage is set at 1.85 (actually reads 1.90). Is this normal?......with that much voltage the temps are pretty high up there. The idle temp is 39C but the load is at 54C-----and that is with the Master Cache Reading enabled. It will let me hit 1.60 vcore w/o PCI Master Read Cache enabled, but the idle is around 45 and the load is around 50C. The 1.2 should be using 1.75....am I not right?.........with this vcore and PCI Master Read Caching enabled I would be getting decent temps. Any help would be appreciated.

Although I'm not familiar with that particular problem, I can tell you this, the ASUS Probe is known to report temps as much as 10C higher than actual. After building several systems on the A7V and the A7V133 motherboards I can confirm this. I have attained good results by keeping the temps "as reported" by the Probe under the upper 50's.

Most people use "Motherboard Monitor 5" to get more accurate readings.

I hope this helps.

Good Luck!
