Hit the "Go Advanced" button below the Quick Reply box, then in the tool bar click the button with the picture of a mountain. Enter the address of the pic and submit.

Remember to use an INTERNET address instead of "http://c:/Documents%20and..." (which btw doesnt make any sence).
Upload it first somewhere to get an address like this one: "HTTP://www.some_addy.com/some_folder/somepic.jpg"

I think that ~600mm fan takes the cake for the most cfm of any computer fan. Now all you need is a leaf blower connected straight to your heatsink.

I think we all might have tried something similar to this at one point when we just start learning about O/Cing and dont have the proper cooling yet to really start playing. I know doing something similar to this helped make the wait for my watercooling components much easier to deal with :D.

ROFL, reminds me when I first OCed my Pentium 60.
rotf ha ha I DID that once when I busted my cpu fan by sticking my finger in it... i actually got better results with the box fan with the cpu fan completelly removed!

lol, nice but arent u worried if the fan motor is realeasing emp's and the magnet can erase data from ur hd or damage parts :-O!!

It looks like the box fan and the oscillating fan are fighting eachother. I think you might be able to squeeze out a few more degrees with a modification to a push-pull setup.
Other than that, your mod is pure quality.

The extreme refers to the resulting decrease in temperature (Usually –C) not in the apparatus. But those are some good temps.

I had to do that in the summer on my old 1.2 tbird just to keep it from locking up.
It could use a couple more fans.

Trust me the shielding on hard drives is more then adequate to even hold up to most magnets let alone a little pulse from a motor. If you wanted to do any damage to an hdd you'd need a strong rare earth magnet like Neodymium.
Oh man. Thanks for the laugh.
I actually had to do that before. My first computer was an Athalon 800 slot. The fans burned out, and I didn't know where to get replacements. (they had already stopped making heat-sinks for it at the time)
