need help quickly...

I am trying to figure out whats casuing my grandmothers computer to keep getting blus screens, but i just can't do it....i tried swapping memory, tried upping the vcore on the processor (even tyhough its not overclocked)....everytime the screen says
IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL...or something like that...i'm going to try a new motherboard, but i want to aviod reformating....now corect me if i'm wrong, but isn't there a registry value or something that will let me do this?...

i have had this message before, i think it was something to do with my chipset drivers.. I cannot remember.

I assume you're referring to deleting the Enum key from the Registry...

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE | SYSTEM | CurrentControlSet | Enum

...which contains information regarding all the hardware devices in your system.

Yup thats the one.

You need to run mem test on the ram And check to be sure all drivers are current as well as the BIOS being current for the hardware you have added to the mainbord.
