My new Sys is ready

ok, just finished making my sys, it's all ready, anything I should remeber to check for before turning it on? I think I did a really good job with the HS lapping, it looks straight on and really thermally ready, anything else? I'll turn it on tomorrow after I read all the suggestions. (I just wouldn't get any sleep of somthing went wrong, lol. I'd be up all night eitehr trying to fix it or not fallign a sleep.

Ha ha , ya when I got my first system all put together (the one I am using right now) I made the mistake of turning it on. I was up for two days loading and tweaking and just playing with it.

As far as making sure everything is all tighty , I guess its always good to just give it a good look over making sure that everything is all hooked up correctly and there is no possible shorts , you know like the hs clip isn't touching anythimg it shouldn't. I always like to pull back all my fan wires and psu wires , making sure the air can flow aswell as possible. Make sure all your pci parts are fully seated and you video card assuming you have a AGP slot.

I dont know you should be fine as long as you took your time.

yeah I think I did a good job, I spent a good chunk of time on this (4-5 hours) and I have a very very organized case, I have never seen a pic of a cleaner case, I used flat IDES but they are flat on teh side so they aren't seen, you can see everything on the mobo with nothing interupting. As far as shorts I'll have to check up on that just to make sure,

Hey train22 that looks like a sweet setup. I remember when I finished building my first system I said the same thing I'll goto bed and turn it on in the morning. Half an hour later I was up and tweaking. I just couldn't stop myself. I think it was about noon the next day when I finnially got to bed
