ok you can try 3 things
1 - look for the name and model number printed on the board. it will be printed in white. Often bold
2 - when you first turn the computer on and it posts, a bios string will apear. It usally looks like a word and a series of random letters... So could you post anything that looks like that here and we will look at it.. find out from that.
3-Software. Software will often tell you what your motherboard is.. but can often be wrong (rev) or include a line of boards. Also if you board doesnt support this, nothing will be displayed.
download SiSoftsandra, has what you want under informations moduals, mainboard information.. Very usefull program, you will see its used by many people here....so its usefull :)

I think he can say SoftFSB Jay. In most cases people that have bought from a place like dell will get stuck woth a board that can't do too much. They like to keep it that way.
The best way is to set a start-up password also known as a system passwork it will freeze the screen so you can see what type of board it is.
The mother board is an Appian Jeranimo J3
thanx amb for that tip

The reason your pentium wont work is because you tried to molest it when it was a child. It has been scarred for life and for that it will not work for 36 years because it really feels worthless and that nothing is ever going to be good for it in it's life even though it has money and lives in a pool house. You need to take out your pentium for dinner and kiss it repeatedly on the mouth, you have to make it feel special, maybe proposing will give it a new look out on life and make it feel like one of the gang, it has to ride with the group, you can't overtake it too much, you have to let it enjoy it's motorcycle. Just make it feel special and make it understand that once a month is natural and that being a woman is something to be proud of and not to worry too much. I hope this has been of good assistance so that you and your pentium can relive those happy times and be better.
Have fun bottom.
Grab a flash light and look around the board for some jumpers and a table in white ink.. should tell you which jumpers for which FSB (FrontSideBus) that is the only way to overlock those chips.. most likely your running at either 60 or 66mhz FSB right now.. try bumping yer up a lil at a time if you can.. I wouldnt expect to get much out of it!
