You will not be able to use pc 2100, 2400 with the Abit KT7A as this type of memory is actually DDR. The Abit KT7A takes SDRAM and as such good quality high rated PC133 - PC150 etc is what you require. I personally use PC133 Crucial in my KT7A and it runs ok with a 140 mhz FSB. You would however be better off with a higher rated memory such as PC150

Hi AlanSr,
well there are a lot of Hi-performance mem modules, like Tonicom, Corsair, Mushkin rev3, Kingmax....it's really difficult to say who is the best, especially looking the hundreds comparative test made ;)

If you want MORE performance and LESS price, go with the crucial.com RAM. I had 2 sticks of PC133 in my KT7A and they ran at 144FSB CAS2. I have 3 total RAM sticks of PC2100 DDR RAM from crucial now and I am running at 152FSB stable at CAS2. By the way, the PC2100 RAM is rated CAS2.5 at 133, not CAS2. I am running CAS2 at 152FSB. That should tell you something there.
are you using 2100 in your KT7A?
or did you get a new board?
