Setting up 2 more machines

well after 1whole month of folding i got 344WU...i want more more more hehe...so i am setting up my 700duron@907Mhz(3:07/frame) and some tiem tonight i am going to add 333CelronA@416Mhz to the machines...hopefully this will get me an extra 100WU per week since there not up 24/7 neither is this one becuase its too loud but every computer helps... everbody esle out there reading this and has extra computers lieing around that are networkd to a LAN install folding@home on them and help out...even if there not on 24/7 or 12/7 they should still finish a wu in the 3 day timeslot.... is for my second and 3rd comp correct

I have everything I own folding 27/7. I have an extra room so I can just shut the door and all is quiet at night.

The two new folding boxes should bring you up in the stats in no time. :)

More machines, <evil laugh>mwahahahaha</evil laugh>now if they only made a client for the palm or winCE. Got an old palm IIIx oc'd to 29Mhz. :D

no gunrock, just use the same name for all of them

I run three computers with the same name TheKehoe(www.overclockers.com) on every computer. F@H gives them all their own identification numbers so everything works out fine and they are all added to the same total. do it however you want but i like to have all the WUs added to he same name

well i was kinda dumb when i installed the first client on this computer i put )#1 hehe but if u put #2 ect it all goes under one name right still gunrock(www.overclockers.com) ?

I usually add a space between the name and the parenthesis. like this:

gunrock (www.overclockers.com)

But it looks like it might work both ways. Congrats on the new WU-Producers! :-p

Thx hehe. i am goign to try to do my part i gota EM set up now on both to start with windows hehe... shortly i will update this to have 700duron@907Mhz and 333celeronA@416mhz results for 1 frame so u guys if u got similar processsors u know what to expect

333CeleronA@416Mhz=Console shut down.....for some odd reason i got an error message lol.. keep you posted as soon as something happens here i closed it then restarted f@h...and now i have processed my FIRST FRAME on 333celeronA...all i can say man its realy realy slow compared to my tbitrd...i think its 5min+ so far....

does AMD process Frames faster then Intel same clock speed and same bus speed? is AMD better for f@h hehe....i will test that out i will underclock my 1ghz tbird to 5x90mhzfsb and then tweek it to 416mhz and get a reading when ever i got some time to kill lol.

well the results are offical 333CeleronA@416Mhz completes a frame in a whopping 8min 9sec hehe...oh well what can u expect from a computer from middle of 1998 hehe FOLD on....and if u gota computer lieing around prefurable 233Mhz+ get f@h running on it...i am not sure about 200mhz comptuers and how they will do a WU hehe...

Hay... Thats not bad. What protien are you folding at that rate ?
I have an old K6-2 300 o/c'd to 420 that is crunching a TripZip right now and it is doin' a frame every 7min 20sec. Now, when it has to chew on a BBalphaUAHT it slows down to a crawl. 1 frame every 17min 35sec. It still gives me an extra w/u every day. That is one more than I had before I set up the box. I'm happy. :)

its taht new one (new to me) BBalphaUAHT the system is giving those wu out left right and center lol i got 14 of them on this comp i thinhk in the last 3-4days...and my 2 otehr computers now are folding the same kinda wu hehe

just for fun one day i am goign to strap out my Pentium166 with 32mb EDO ram and 1.5gb hdd and 2mb EDO ati video card....and see what that 5 1/2 year old beast can do for one Frame and 1 WU.......its giong to be soo slow that its goign to be a killer in electricty to have it running LOL or will just pop in this hdd into that comp...and watch it take about 10min to boot into windows ... it takes 3min now... but i got F@h starting with windows so it starts up and eats all the extra cpu cycles while my other stuff is loading LOL
