I'm lost... My ATI RAGE FURY MAXX wont work any AMD machines I tried it on, so I want to get a new card... I don't know what should I get I don't have enough $$$ for Radeon 8500 or GF3 so I guess I'll go for GF2MX or Radeon.
What would you suggest. If you had experience with both will be great help.
Thx ahead.
Radeon 64MB VIVO is still a great card. I have one in my second system and it's just great. Not as fast as my GF3 but picture quality is the same to me.

How much Money do you have? as far as im concerned the current best card on the market (now that nVidia killed 3dfx) is the Geforce2 Ultra 64 GTS.. with a 350 clock core and 4 ns Ram this card can kick out any current game flawlessly(even Tribes2-the biggest PC power hog ont he market today) and will continue to rock for at least another year to come.. and at 200$ full paid for and shipped(look at www.pricewatch.com) without tax(order it from any state other than your own) its tuff to beat..but if you dont quit have 200$ i saw a Geforce2 MX-400 64mb for 70$ Shipped on there :/ ,.. but i say go with the Ultra- Bang for buck- best card on the market..

the radeon le is the best bang for buck in shipped state it will whoop any mx, and when oced and hacked it will perform like a radeon 32 DDR and approaches almost gts performance......they have a review at anandtech on it....

My limit is about 100$...
I live in Israel and the currency here is about 1USD to 4.21 Nis, so I guess I'll go for the LE... Thx

you can get a full review at anandtech, but it is underclocked and hyperz is inactivated, if you order from pricewatch you can get it for 62 dollars.....and the radeon 32 ddr is 130...once oced and hacked it performs the same

that is a good deal, but the shipping to him in israel would cancel it out...i still say le......it may not have as many fps but the radeon is quality not quantity....

why dont you just buy a 3d prophet 4500 aka kyro 2 ... im serious im using that card right now and i can assure you its great ... the grafix are top of the line ... never seen better on ANY 3d card ... and its real cheap ... its worth its money

If youve never seen better than a Kyro 2 that leaves me wondering what games and appz your using it on- and if you dont mind- what are the exact specs on the Kyro2?
im guessing(since its cheaper) the LE is just a slower GPU or something like that- like the MX mnodel of the Gf2 is compared to the GTS or ultra- but id ask around more- read more reviews and get the actual; technical difference between them- but if you have the 17$ its probably worth it to spend it :)

please do not speak bad about the kyro 2 ... go to tomshardware.com and read the review about the kyro 2
in some benches it scores even better then the Ultra ...
so before you start trashing the kyro 2 read that review ...
thx
