problems with inter 850gb

i got an intel 850gb with 128 kingston rambus and a p4 @ 1.5ghz.
the problem is that i get no display on my screen and according to the monitoring leds at the back of the board my bios doesnt load(i dont get that combination). i get orange,green,green,green from top to bottom.but intel clasifies that combination as undefined...HELP!!!

Probably are you speaking of the memory check at the Bios startup? or is something that is shown after?

when u turn the power on all u get nothing on the screen.@ the back of the mb there are some monitoring leds.for a brief moment i get the combination green green orange orange and then the combination green green green orange.the first combination means -bios operation"memory auto-size shadow etc".the second combination is undefined. the combination that means bios is loading is 4 greens...dont tell me me mb's fooked

I havn't the same Mobo, but also my Msi Mobo use the Diagnostic LED function: the first combination is the 'Decompressing BIOS image to Ram for fast Booting' and the second that freezes the system mean 'Early Chipset initialization'. At this point I suggest you to take a look to the user manual if available, and search for the right keyboard combination to restore the Bios defaults, coz probably there's something wrongly setted into the Bios.

thankz man.where did u get the combination definitions?i mean i couldnt find them anywhere in intel's support site...
anyway heres again the cimbinations:

theres a jumper that restores the bios default and i tried it and nothing happened...
oh and something else,yesterday and all of a sudden on of my fans stopped working.no power comes out where its connected.

about your prob, I'm thinking to the Ps at this point, what kind of Ps do you have? coz there are a lot of prob with many Ps & P4 Mobo. Probably the best way is to try with another one, preferribly of a friend.

Ps?? if u mean cpu its a p4 @ 1.5ghz. ram is 2 64mb kingston pc 800.power supply is standard 300 watt.is there a possibility to be a malfuction in the mb?

No, no, I'm speaking of the Power Supply (Ps) that somethimes can gives prob with P4, even if with the special connector made for P4 Mobo. I think there are more chance that is the Ps the prob, and not the Mobo.

No, I'm sorry but nothing else on the manual, only the leds combinations, have you tryed changing the position of the Rimm modules?

yes i did,but when i change them i get three beeps...
btw,i dont have a continiouty module,just two normal modules.
we sucked during qualifying today tho...the bmws were flying but i still believe we will win...have u ever been to a gran prix?

It sounds strange, I'm not experienced with Rimm module, but when happen with Dimm, well, one of the modules doesn't work!
At this point, I suggest you to try using only a module at time, probably one can be broken!?
About the grand Prix, well, I hope as soon as possible, for the moment, not yet :(

I've a Clio 1.8 16v Kat modded a little for ~150Hp with a new Eprom, K&N air filter, OMP dome strobe, Koni absorper, Eibach.....:D

i changed to 17inch alloys, bigger intercooler, stainless steel intake filter,dump valve for the turbo,changed exhaust system too.aprox 190-195ps
bigger turbo turbine is next! that will take it up to 230-240 ps

well,when i try one module @ a time i have a ram failure,i get three beeps.i think rambus cant worq in single modules...u must have 2 modules for rambus to worq.anyway,am taking it to my local store tomorrow for a check-up. whats a great fun in my car is the dump valve,imagine everybody turning around to c what makes that "psshhh" each time u let go the accelerator:)

Probably, really needs to work both the Rimm modules, at this point is better to check with your local store your system, coz I suppose that it's newer and must work!

I understand your disappointment for your system, I prefer Amd to the P4, it's cheaper and gives more performance, infact I'm planning to go with a Tb1.4Ghz on an Abit KG7-Raid wit 256 or 512Mhb of Ddr modules Pc2400.
For the Ferrari, well Schummy is really a Great driver, but I don't like Barrichello, I prefer Raikkonen or Trulli that in the last years have made good race and qualify, his prob is the new Honda engine that always broke during race!

well,getting an amd cpu/system is not very easy were i live,ddr is REALLY rare to find in my town...so i HAD to go for a p4.
am starting to think that we have a schumacher-beater in f1...!his name?
