Asus A7nx8-e deluxe
2500+ mobile
mcp600/mcw6002/maze 4 gpu
yadda yadda

I'm at 200x9.5 or 1900 mhz. I tried to goto multi of 10 or even FSB of 205 and system won't past POST. I upped vcore up to 1.825 and still nothing. I can't figure it out...what gives? I have a decent chip IQFYA MPMW.

I'm playing a few games and got BSOD one time and in another game it just quit the game. The video card isn't oc'd. Its a 9800 pro.

help!

Check your temperatures and try remounting. You could have a bad mount cause the block not to make full contact with your cpu.

i've remounted .......temps are 38 idle, 43-45 load.

"stock" for that CPU is 14x133mhz. your problem may lie in the fsb/ram area

yeah you seem to be pushing your ram too far... is it generic?
is your ratio 1:1?

OCZ pc3200 LL. 5-3-2-2 timings....its set sync'd at moment. Whats ram have to do with multiplier?

OCZ pc3200 LL. 5-3-2-2 timings....its set sync'd at moment. Whats ram have to do with multiplier?
nothing, but it has a lot to do with the fsb. the ram speed when set to sync with the fsb is equal to 2x the fsb, thus at 200*9.5, the ram is operating at 400mhz along with the fsb. at true 'stock' for a 2500+M, the fsb and ram are at 266mhz (133x2). try increasing voltage to your nothbridge and ram. also try setting it to 14*133 to see if it's working correctly at true stock. if it's ok at that speed, the problem lies in the ram/fsb, which can be helped by increaseing ram and NB voltages. if there are still problems, then the cpu may be bad, or the MB.

ok will do. The ram is at 2.8v already but I'm not sure if I can increase NB voltage. I'll try tonight and see what I can find out. any other ideas?

you really also should set it to the nforce2 optimum:

2-2-3-11

it probably isnt the cause of troubles, but itll help

i'll do that.......the system is even unstable at 200x9.5. I got prime95 errors last night after about 3 hours doing a blend test. I'm now at 1600 mhz ....solid however. Something is seriously wrong. Other ideas?
