I'm having some problems with my Mic. It plays over the speaker, but it won't record, nor will other programs pick up what is sent into the mic (like teamspeak/ventrillo).
1) Mic is not muted and is at max volume.
2) I can hear myself through the speakers just fine.
3) I've tried a few programs (windows sound recorder and all two wav, including TS), none of them can record/hear my voice.
4) The mic itself works perfectly.
5) Latest C-Media drivers are installed.
6) Capture device can be set at either "Primary Sound Capture Device" or "C-Media Wave Device". Doesn't work no matter which is selected.
I used to be able to use TS and record wav's just fine with my mic. I don't know what I could have done to make it not work.
I'm using an onboard c-media sound system without the S-Bracket. The phone plugs are being used with the following devices:
Green = Line out = Speakers (Cambridge SoundWords 4 Point 1 [only 2 speakers connected + sub]
Blue = Line In = TV/Radio Tuner (Winfast PVR Deluxe)
Red = Mic In = Mic (Labtec AM-242)
I'm running SP2 WinXP Pro on a fairly-new-from-rma SOYO KT333 DRAGON Ultra Platinum Edition.
