Ok, to start i have a sapphire 9800 pro 128mb. Everything is totally updated:
Directx 9.0c, newest omega drivers, and all of the critical updates for windows xp pro.

The problem im having is that whenever I do anything that takes graphics (games and 3dmark03) i get these strange checkerboard patters that are the same color as the texture they are over but they flash constantly. This happens in both 3dmark03 and in games like Battlefield: Vietnam and Call of Duty.

I dont know that much about this stuff so I had my friend help me try to fix it and we couldnt get anything done. So if anyone here knows of this issue, please post.

welcome to the forums!!!!!!

is this a new card or have you had it awhile? is it overclocked? did you buy it new or used? Sounds like a lack of power.....

Its a fairly new card, maybe about 3 months and its not overclocked at all.

And I bought it new from newegg.
