Using an open case

I've seen a lot of creative ways to install insane numbers of fans in cases and got thinking... Why not just take the case off and stick a big 12" desktop fan next to the thing? :D

Thoughts... I'm sure there's a reason for not doing this!

I would test that fan on a floppy first to see if it corrupts it or not......... =)

I seen a case with one of those 12" or so fans on it over at VH's cool case gallery.

It would deffinitly work but not real practical. At least for me anyway.
