Are Setistash and SetiSpy compatible with each other so as i can use both at the same time? I would like to install the SetiStash but i don't want to lose my setispy.

Set up SETIStash the way you need it to be set up. After renaming the command line version to SETI.EXE and downloading your WUs close both SETIStash.EXE and SETI.EXE. Set up SETISpy to use the SETI.EXE as the program to listen in on and whatever other settings you need.

I have not tried this (I wanted to here at work since I use SETIStash but it seems I have deleted my SETISpy) but I can't see any reason why it would not work.

I don't believe it will work if you're crunching with more than one instance though. It will only show one (if it works at all).

Let me know if that works for you. If you don't want to try it I'll try it later when I get home or tomorrow morning (have the day off! Wahoo!).

The only problem I can see is some kind of software conflict. SETISpy gets its data about what the client is doing from the .sah files. I don't know what SETIStash does, but since all Spy is doing is reading a file, and updating itself accordingly, I don't see why ANY combination of software wouldn't work together.

Set up SETIStash so it will chache all the WU you need and get SETI to use them, and then install SETISpy, and everything should work out fine (as long as not conflicts occur. like not setting options correctly...)
