desktop directory....

is their anyway in winxp pro sp2, to change the location of the desktop directory? i found this (http://www.windowsnetworking.com/kbase/WindowsTips/WindowsNT/RegistryTips/Miscellaneous/ChangelocationofMyDocumentsDesktopFavoritesandStar tMenu.html) and changedd it to a seperate drive, for desktop, but it didnt seem to stick, still changed in the registry, but not saving anything to it.

Use tweakUI to move a "special folder". This will change the location of the directory, but not move any files.
