Max Payne secret level...

This game suprises me more and more!!!
Max Paine has a last secret level but it only appears after you end the 3 levels of difficulty (dont need to finish the time level).

A friend of mine and i have been trying to finish this secret level for the last 2 days, but we only last bout 10 to 20 seconds when the bad guys appear!!! Theyre about 20 of them!:eek:

As anyone finished it???

Max Paine has 3 levels of dificulty...
When you finish the first a 4th level is unlocked - time level -.
Havent played this that much, only seem how it works: in the first chapter when they kill your baby and your wife, you only have 1 minute to finish it!
2nd level of dificulty (story doesnt change) - your enemies have stronger AI, making them a little harder to kill!:eek:
3rd level of dificulty - does guys are really hard to kill!!!:mad:
Besides your can only save your game(F5) 7 times for each chapter. The story remains the same:(

Finishing this one, secret level is unlocked and youre taken to a little corridor full of weapons:
1 Beretta that has infinite shells for what i could figure out...
2 shotguns
2 ingrams
2 koktail molotov
6 jackhammer
7 painkillers

Theres a big room at the end of this little corridor...
When i go out of this corridor(normal speed), and step right into this big room you are taken yourself to slowmotion.
we can to the right or the left, since theres a little computer room in the middle.
And thats when i start shooting!!! Going to the right or the left is the same thing, +- 10 guys from one side and another bunch from the other side!!! All of them equipped with JackHammers!!!
My friend and I can only last 10 to 20 seconds once they start shooting!!!:(

Sweet, be sure to post some screen shots!, personaly I entered that lil contest to win a free copy, funds are tight at the moment, cant wait to get my hands on this baby, hopefully I'll be able to run it on low/med with my v3/3k.. no funds for better video card either, arg!

it runs ok on a v3 just can't up the graphic detail and you gotta stay at 640x480 but definately playable.
went out and bought a kyro II yesterday and its a whole new game at 1024x768 and high detail....it just plain rocks

weazel if i were you i would try to run it at 1280 i do it with my kyro 2 and it runs perfectly ... just try it and you'll see the difference

I havent put them yet because im not the one that has arrived to that secret level... a friend of mine is the one that arrived there on his PC. Im going to is place tomorrow and them ill post the pics. I ask for a little patience guys.
My video card is a tnt2 m64 w/32mb and i have medium configuration in all except : level geometry, level textures and other textures, is in low.....at 800x600x16bits.
Works and looks good!

Secret level is easy. You beat it and there is a big picture of all the people that made the game. Its pretty nifty, having to beat all those guys in matrix mode isnt easy, but its cool.

Ya, not that hard to beat. Just use the jackhammer.

BTW - I wish there was a better ending then that room w/ pictures in it. :(
