No no it will work just fine. Except the proccesor will run at 200MHz with the motherboard, not 266MHz. But it will be fine.

to add on to that ? i know my k7v has a setting to handle 266 fsb with itz pci at 33 mhz witch is not overclocking the pci or apg slots... why would it not handle the 266 fsb it has support for it ??? has anyone tired it yet or just taking a guess ?

forgoten & Cupdeez welcome to the forums guys. First off like Jeff said it will run but only at the 200 MHz bus.
The kt133 was orginally supposed to hande a fsb of 133 but via did a very bad job with the chipset and it will only handle a fsb of up to about 115 if your lucky.
That is why they released the kt133a, that has actual support for 133 fsb.

Forgoten your fsb can be changed I believe in the bios on that board. But like I said before only upto 115 or so. I have an epox board that will only go to about 106 fsb with the same chipset.
BTW your actual front side bus speed will only be 100 = 200 and 133 = 266. The only bus that is running at 200 or 233 is between the memory and the cpu, and that really only runs at 100 or 133 but there is double the bandwidth.
Hope I didn't confuse you, or maybe you allready knew. I just didn't want you looking for something in or bios that would let you run a 266 fsb cause you'd be looking for a while.
First of all, Welcome to the forums.
Hugo 59 is correct, I have that same board and it will run that CPU at a 200MHz FSB, set the FSB to 100 and the multiplier to 12X. I believe you should be able to get to somewhere near 110MHz out of the KT133 chipset, take advantage of it if you can, this will yield you 1320MHz.
Make sure you have adequate cooling.
Good Luck!
