Hello OCforums.

I got omega drivers and they work great. At the time of installation i decided not to install the Ati Tool that the omega drivers had built in. Now once i got my Vga Silencer i was thinking i should OC bit. Can i jsut get the ATI Tool separate and install without problems.

As i asked something about Omega Drivers previously someone mentioned NOT using ATI Tool with the omega drivers. Is this true?

Heres that post i was talking about
The omega ones have some nice overclocking features. I prefer to use the ATI drivers (4.8) right now and then ATI tool to overclock. Don't use the omega drivers with ati tool, btw. If you are a big doom 3 player the 4.9 beta cats have slight improvement with our series card. Good luck man!

yes you can..... also I believe the 4.8 omegas come with 0021. since then w1zzard has come out with 0022 which is better than the one that comes with the last omegas.

I never noticed any difference between the ATi drivers and the Omega drivers. What exactly is supposed to be the difference? Do they actually improve performance?

Well for Cs with 4.8's i was getting like 70 fps to 80 fps max.... with omega drivers on the same specs i got like 120 steady..... apparently ATI drivers were not very friendly with my computer. Most liekly these reults are likely =D
