trees anyone, why are they rainbow? It does it when the card is not OC'ed either... sp2, DX9c, patch1 for the game, official 4.9's. I am pretty sure all detailas are maxed (no aa or af) out with 1280x1024. Anyone?

does look like artifacts but you said that it wasn't overclocked. Is it just in Farcry or does it do it in other games?

someone else was having the same prob with an x800 in farcry, try updating the game

Yeah, it does not artifact in D3, or any other games... just in farcry, it is updated... 1.1, can't find 1.2 anywhere and I don't know if I want to install it. so it is normal then?

i get this problem to when i run shadow detail at high...try running it at very high and this should fix it...even medium works but for some reason high seems to mess things up

edit: this is a game problem not hardware or driver...it was supposed to be fixed in the 1.2 patch but we know how that went...but with the 1.1 you should be able to run shadow detail at very high with no problem on this card...i do and its just the same as you have...even when not oc'd it does well. if for some reason it feels like to much just bump down to medium detail on shadow detail
