Ok I finally got my system together. Please see signature for specs. I can only get my system to overclock to 1,470 with a 10.5x and 140FSB. I would really like to be able to hit 10.5x150fsb or 10x150fsb....
Why am I not able to get any higher. I get locked up right before win2k loads or I get an Missing NTLDR error.
I tried increasing the voltage to 1.75 and 1.8 and neither helped....
Also my temps at 1470 are 44/52 load. I have two stock 80mm in front and 1 80mm in back and a PCI exhaust fan. I have 2 90mm laying around and 2 80mm laying around but have no clue where I could put them. I have a beautifully modded lian li PC12 which I don't really want to cut holes into and from what I can tell I can't just swap the 80mm with the 90mm's i have. I am also using a glaciator with ASII.
All suggestions are welcome!
BTW also folding away amazingly fast with this new machine. Once I get this all set up I should be able to contribute about 150-250 WU a day.

You're using a Vcore of 2.75 to 2.8?! That might be you're problem then... because thats just not possible. Are you sure it ain't 1.75 to 1.8?
And if you are running at 1.75 to 1.8 Vcore, you might have to up the Vcore a bit to get it to run stable.
my 2 cents (as often refered to in this forum ;) )

My fault. It is 1.75 and 1.8.... Higher than 1.8??? Isn't that too high?
Are there 80mm fans that push alot more air than the ons that came with my case? They don't seem to push much air in or out.

If you are going to up the Vcore you need better cooling. You allready have way to high temps as it is. Come to think of it... that might be the reason why you are having trouble. High temps will make you're system run unstable. You should check and c if you're HS is properly connected to you're CPU.

My glaciator is as connected as its gonna be... It isn't crooked and looks flat across the chip. It isn't the tightest click in the world as glaciator users know but I don't think that makes a difference and I put on a thin layer of ASII.

are you sure about those temps you are getting then? seems mighty strange to have such an high temp with so good cooling.
lets hope someone else on this forum has encountered a similar problem before, and can give you a straight answer.

No I am not sure. I am checking in the bios pc health and using MBprobe. I don't know where to look on sisoft sandra but im sure its the same.

Ok If I replace my glaciator with a ThermalTake SK6 with the Fan Option is YS Tech 60x60x25mm fan 40CFM 46 Db
And I replace the 3 80mm fans in the case that produce 32cfm for 3 80mm 50CFM Sunon Ultra High Speed
Will this increase cooling? How loud is this also? I heard some of this stuff is loud. Exactly how loud is it compared to?
I don't think 1.8 vcore is too high at all. The default vcore is 1.75, if you overclock, you're almost always have the bump the vcore past the default. I'd say go for 1.85 or even higher, the Glaciator should be able to keep your CPU reasonably cool. I don't have one but I heard it's a good hsf.

Problem is with the Glaciator Im getting 53C load temps running Folding at Home..... Im thinking about switching to the above cooling equipment.

I had to run my 1.4 AYHJA Y at 2.0 volts to hit 1600. I'm watercooled though. My absolute max temp I've ever seen (after encoding VCD video for 3 hours) was 55.0C via a thermal probe and digital themometer. My probe actually touches the core.
