Hi guys!

I have an AIW9800 and already made the vgpu mod a couple of months ago with very good results but refrained from the vdd because I thought the ram got too hot to touch.
I have some Tweakmonster sinks on them right now. Do you guys think it is ok to do the vdd mod? If so, how far could I safely go up?

P.S. It's some samsung stuff

Hey guys!

The only thing I have found is this information here (http://www.ocfaq.com/article.php/overclocking/vidcard/56) and here (http://www.fastlanehw.com/reviews.php?i=74&page=5).
On that last article what particularly caught my eye was this:
I never saw a huge temperature increase from the extra voltage going to the memory. If your ram was running cool to the touch before, chances are they're still cool after the mod. If they were hot before, they'll be just as hot after the mod. If they are scorching hot, they can benefit from some ramsinks and a fan blowing over them to keep them cool.

Is this accurate?

Thanks.
