which of 12.90

i have a GeForce256 and was wondering which drivers would get me a higher fps in games and higher score in 3dmark2001.. i read that the 12.90 are faster than 14.10.... i had 12.90 first then went to 14.10 but was dissapointed and switched back to 12.90

but i noticed that there are three 12.90 drivers for winME and was wondering if someone knows which of the three are better
(or maybe even a different series of drivers?)

i also didnt like that 14.10 had removed the option to o/c the card through display options in /advanced

12.90 for your system (W2K/NT, 98, or ME) will run the best. 14.XX drivers, as I've learned, were intended for XP.

I don't recommend trying drivers intended for another operating system. User the W2K in windows 2000, 98 in 98, me in me.

but there are 2 sets of 12.90 drivers for winMe

all that whql means is that microsoft approved it, both should be good...ohwhql is probably for win2k

1080's are the fasted i have tested
and i think i have tested them all
1080 aint the clearest but the fastest

i personally think that the 12.90 drivers are the best for the geforce256 sdr

i m using it now....it's great and it got me 2000 marks in 3dmark2001
