View Full Version : FPS stuck at 60
ok i've ran into this problem before but i dont know how to disable it. i have a killer card and my frames are stuck at 60 cuase thats my refresh rate of my LCD. I know there is a way to disable the sync so that it will go higher then 60fps but im lost. in UT you can change it in the properties but im wondering if there is a universal way so it would work in any game i play.

Well, why do you want it above 60 anyway? If your refresh rate is 60, 60 is all it will display.

are you telling me that refresh rate and frames per second are the same? then how come 3dmark runs over 400FPS on the same LCD?

It may say 400fps+ but you wont be able to see more than 60 with your eyes because the monitor will not produce more than 60.
So anything over 60 in your case will be lost.
....
In games, you have to force your refresh rate.. Omega Drivers come with a Refresh Forcer.
