I wonder if i'm posting this in the right section....anyways i'm just curious to see if anyone has ever modded this case. I myself was thinking about mounting an 80mm fan onto the side, but i'm not sure if I should do it....that plexiglass or whatever it is seems kinda flimsy...

hmmmmm...any ideas (not limited to just the fan mounting, but modding in general)? thanks!

I built one of these for my daughter to take to college. She didn't like the blue fan in the front, so I replaced it with a green one. A small mod, yes ... but let me tell you, Antec does NOT want you (and me) to mess with that front fan. ;)

The window plex is a bit on the thin side. It'll prolly hold an 80mm fan, 'tho.

Erhm ... I offer no warranty, you understand. :D

x_X any doubt and its a no-go....

well perhaps i won't even need it, since i already have the 120mm intake and exhaust + 80mm and another 120mm on the psu, then theres the 92mm hsf... I suppose any more would be a bit...excessive...

But I still wanna do SOMETHING to it to make it stand out with the 1337ness.. But then again maybe there isn't much you can do with such a small case.

I plan on putting a 120mm on mine once I get a hole saw. My PC:

good hussle trying to hide those wires hehe. ever consider round cables tho?

And where would you place it on the plexiglass? down by the agp/pci slots or by cpu/ram? Lol I didn't realize that you had to put so much work into it or else your air flow starts interfering with eachother O_O

Im putting mine in a spot to cool my 6800GT effectively. Thats the sole purpose of adding that.

are you running stock cooling on your 6800gt?
I'm not sure if I would need to place a fan where you're going to since the intake is feeding air to my 9800 almost directly..and i'm using the vga silencer on it, so it pretty much leads out from there...maybe i could put mine in the ram/northbridge area....
