Just downloaded and installed it asked me group name,user name and so on, I put in www.overclockers.com and away I went
is this right? How do i tell if its working?My pc is now running at 100%load?

I have no user name but it seems to be working, How do you put in a user name?

Hi and welcome! All you need to do, is to write the name you want to use, and add (www.overclockers.com) after your name.
If you want to use Tbone1 as you name, you just write this:

Tbone1 (www.overclocker.com)


That's how it's done! :)

i did a reinstall and it never asked me to do that.I guess I'm a noname member

Delete the folder where you placed F@H, and start all over. Add your name as I described above, and you will be a member of the www.overclockers.com F@H team! :cool:

ok did it,and still up and running, how can I tell if its me doing this?

Well, after some time, the console will finish a frame and a text like this will pop up:

Finished a frame (1)


It will continue to make frames untill it reaches 100, then it will have to connect to the internet to send the results to Stanford, and get some new work.
I hope that can help you.
BTW What system are you running on?

I'm on a w2k system with sp2 and a, Amd 1.2 with 256 mb
not oc'ed yet till I get some cooling going.

Walter looks like he uses Flash, I took a course and the smilie face was the first thing to learn.
(not making any jokes) Flash is hard to learn at first!

Welcome to the team. Your T-bird is a fast folder, you should do rather well. It looks like Walter has got you all set. In a doy or two, Stanford should add you to the stats page, and statsman will add you to his.

Use this link below to see if Stanford is giving you and O/C.COM credit for the work you are cranking out. It may take a day or so before you see anything there. Just enter your name you are folding under and it will shoot you your stats back to you.

Well, I actually don't know if it uses flash, because I haven't done the smilie myself. It's made by the animated gif grew!
I'm pretty sure that they are willing to make a avatar for you too. Head over in GD and read the post's about avatar's! :)
