View Full Version : Taisol CGK760 with higher CFM fan gives higher temps!

I changed the fan on my CGK760 for a Motor One 26 CFM fan and somehow the temps are higher. I was using the stock delta 60x10 fan. What should I do? Shouldn't a fan that can create more air flow cool the cpu down more.

thats odd, the only thing I can think of is that the fan is not giving the advertised airflow or it is giving worse airflow than the delta(IE bad air).

that's weird cause when i compared it to my sanyo denki on my alpha it was actually a few degrees better. It runs at around 5300-5500 rpm which isn't bad at I think for a 60x25 fan.

Just a thought..you didn't have the airflow going out instead of in..did ya??
