Hi im relitavely new to the overclocking community, but im am thinkig about overclocking my A64 3200+ (newcastle) to as high as possible on air cooling once my new PSU is delivered. The multipler is locked on this cpu tho so i will have to overclock by uping the htt past 200mhz. I wondered as my ram runs at 200mhz how much this will limit how far i can oc my cpu so i get a sync between ram and cpu (i hear this is vital for AMD systems).

Thanks

when did you get this ram? if you just bought it after about June of last year it doesn't have BH-5 in it, so the ram won't go very far. BUT you can change the memory ratio and the cpu multi so that the ram anc cpu can run in sync
