View Full Version : Windows Registry Checker
Windows Registry Checker. Is there a way to disable this? When I push my FSB to 140 x 9.5. This Registry Checker would say "Windows encountered an error accessing the system registry. Windows will restart and repair the system registry for you." Then you get the ok button. This message doesn't go away, you can hide it. Everything works fine on the computer. Even regedit will work. But I really want to get rid of this error message. My OS is WinME. System is listed by my sig. Thanks!

You can disable the Registry checker by opening the "System Configuration Utility"...Run box | type in "msconfig" (without the quotes), | Startup tab | uncheck "ScanRegistry"..... c:\windows\scanregw.exe /autorun, and reboot for the change to take effect.
