Team summary on EOC stats shows our trendline as slightly increasing, while [H] is sharply declining and the aussies are declining considerably also!

This is always a good time of year for us, and it shows when we are the only big team with a positive trend!

As suggested in my signature, the cold weather is coming and you will probably be turning up the heat. Instead, why not just buy a bunch of computers and fold on them? You will save electricity on heating and put to the cause. Cold weather is when the folders come out.

I have been woundering about that. I have been running fairly well yet I get passed by a lot. There are a lot of folders doing more than 200 ppd. I figured with that much new powah, we'd have to increase over the other teams at some point.

Ha! That is so true! I even upped my OC speeds back to normal now since it's dropped below 65 in San Francisco (even in my house). :clap:

edit: my temps are a constant 36-39C even on low now! Thanks cold weather!

this is amazing considering I personally have went for 33 to 13 folders in the past 45 days :'( I atribut the decline to the F@H5.02 I had steady production untill I updated most of the machines from 4 to 5.02...I am going to try 5.02 without advanced methods and Big Packets turned off..maybe this way people will let it run :|

I also borged one within 5 minutes of waking up this morning... kicked myself for not doing it before bed. :)

Stayed at a friends house who has a roomate which always sleeps at her boyfriends place... Her PC was spyware and virii infected, so I cleaned and borged it before going to work. :)

I analitically predicted the upswing vector of team 32, taking into account any variances and current accurate weather pattern models for the next six months and my results are verified using a little elbow grease, intutuion, and a little calc to come to the conclusion that we will be no1. In australia it is coming to be spring and summer soon. In north america it is getting colder. So we are not only increasing our overclocks and therefore our production, but in australia the opposite is upon them. Oh yeah.

The reason they aren't on the upswing I believe is because of the loss of midnight freak, their number 1 folder. He was at one point producing 20 thousand points per day, according to EOC now his average PPD is 83. Thats a lot of points lost.

I don't know, but there are many network configurations, timing and such that has to be taken into account so without knowing what's it like I won't comment. Personally I used to fold some at work but only after work so I gotta make sure they're off in the morning and such.

yup, stan got us. I've noticed, [H] is just eekin us, 'n I think we'll start to gain on them soon, but OCAU is what's got me, they have so many BIG folders that are puttin our 5k plus daily....thats what's pushin them so hard

Right, H has greater velocity, but we are accelerating while they are slowing down... According to the current graphs, by the 5th of next month [H]'s trend line will be slightly under 180,000 ppd, and ours will be slightly over 175,000 ppd. Now H's line might level out a bit once the loss of midnight fades slightly, however this is our strongest time of year and I think ours is only going to get better. :)

Once our PPD catches up to [H], we can start chipping away at the massive lead they have on us right now.

About midnight: I don't know specifically, but I do know that getting a borg that size is not easy, and it often takes bargaining... This bargaining often times requires a lot of manual labor (OC-AMD for example spends a few hours every day bringing his borgs up and down). The chance of having that many borgs, and having the ability/permission to just keep them all up 24/7 is rare... And judging by the quickness of his drop, it looks like he took them down as normal one day, and having decided he was taking a break, just couldn't bring them back up.
