I've been folding for over a year, but always for a different team. Well, I'm tired of no one else folding on that team, so I'm coming here.

Don't expect too much, I just have one cpu folding, just my 3000+, but it's on most of the day.

On another note, is 5.02 messing up for anyone else?

I don't know about messing up, but I really don't like the bigpackets option. Part of the whole alure of folding, at least half of the sales pitch when trying to get people to join, is that you can't even tell it's running, but with this bigpackets, work units now can take up 300mb of RAM at a time, and the whole machine just feels more sluggish.

So unless it's a dedicated folder only box, or it has 1gb of RAM, I usually turn off bigpackets. And if they don't have broadband, forget about it, as the WU's can get *huge*, so upload and download without cable or dsl is out of the question.

Mine kept ending early. I did 5 WU's, and none of them got counted.

So far 4.0 seems to be working fine. I should finish this big Tinker tomorrow sometime, and start climbing.

early ends are normal and you are getting credit for the early ends. they have started to level off for me now and i am actually completting them...in fact that all i freakin get these days....welcome to the climb to the top!

It would register that I completed the WU, and increase that, but didn't get any points for them.
